The best time to run Google Ads for junk removal

Junk removal demand moves with seasons, the calendar and even the day of the week. Here’s how to time your ads.

Seasons

  • Spring: cleaning season — garages, yards, sheds. Budgets should rise as the weather turns.
  • Summer: moving season — move-out cleanouts and furniture removal peak.
  • Fall: steady, with yard debris and pre-holiday cleanouts.
  • Winter: slower for homeowners; estate cleanouts, property turnovers and commercial work continue.

Calendar patterns

Lease turnovers cluster at the end and beginning of each month, which can lift move-out demand. Long weekends often bring garage and basement projects.

Days and hours

Run ads when you can respond. If you offer same-day service, front-load same-day campaigns into the morning, when there’s still time to dispatch. Reduce or pause same-day ads once the day’s schedule is full.

Weather

Rainy or icy days can reduce outdoor jobs and change what people search for. Storm cleanups can create short spikes in demand.

Use your own data

After a few months, your account’s day-of-week and hour-of-day reports — matched against booked jobs — will tell you more than any general rule. Adjust bids up where leads become jobs and down where they don’t.
