Landscaping Google Ads: 65 leads in 45 days

A residential landscaping company, a focused Google Search campaign and a dedicated landing page. Here are the numbers and the decisions behind them.

$3,160
Google Ads spend
65
Leads (calls + forms)
45
Booked jobs, reported by the client
≈$49
Cost per lead

Period: 45 days. Spend and leads from Google Ads and call/form tracking. Booked jobs reported by the client. Cost per lead = spend ÷ leads.

The business

A residential landscaping company that wanted a steady flow of project inquiries from Google, not just referrals.

What we built

The campaign followed the same principles we use for every landscaping account:

  • Search campaigns split by service, so each service had its own keywords, ads and budget.
  • A dedicated landing page instead of the home page, built for mobile visitors with the phone number and a short quote form above the fold.
  • Call and form tracking in place before launch, so every lead was counted from day one.
  • Location targeting limited to the areas the crew could serve profitably.
  • Weekly search-term reviews to block irrelevant searches as they appeared.

The results

Over 45 days the campaign spent $3,160 and generated 65 leads — calls and form submissions from people asking about landscaping work — for a cost of roughly $49 per lead. The client reported that 45 of those leads became booked jobs.
