The starting point
A junk removal company launched a new Google Search account with us on October 7, 2026. The goal was simple: a steady flow of residential junk removal calls and quote requests, at a cost per lead that leaves room for profit on a typical job.
The first eight days
- 27 phone calls from ads and the landing page
- 25 quote requests through the website form, logged in the client’s CRM
- 52 leads in total for $1,500 in ad spend — about $28.85 per lead
- 516 clicks from Google Search
At that pace, the account was tracking toward more than 190 leads in its first month. That’s a projection from the first eight days, not a result yet — new accounts often get better as search terms are cleaned up, but daily volume also moves with weather, day of week and season.
Why junk removal can move this fast
Junk removal customers decide quickly. Most search, compare one or two companies and book within a day or two, so a well-built Search campaign can start producing calls almost immediately. The things that matter most:
- Blocking the wrong searches from day one — dump hours, free city bulk pickup, scrap prices and dumpster rentals attract clicks that never become jobs
- A landing page built for the decision — how pricing works, what you take, availability and an easy way to call or request a quote
- Tracking calls and forms separately, so the account optimizes toward real inquiries
- Answering fast — in junk removal, the first company to respond usually wins the job
What we’re watching next
- How many of the 52 leads become booked jobs, and at what average ticket
- Which searches and times of day produce the best jobs
- Whether cost per lead holds as volume scales
We’ll update this page as the month plays out. For the full playbook, see Google Ads for junk removal companies, or how we run junk removal campaigns.
